I participate in a monthly blog circle through Clickin Moms where we take on challenges to shoot something under a given topic each month and we all share what we did in our blogs and link to one another. This month the theme was : Anthropomorphism....
Eh...Anthro-what?
Anthropomorphism is the “attribution of human motivation, characteristics, or behavior to inanimate objects, animals, or natural phenomena."
Yeah, ok, so this means we were suppose to humanize non-human subjects or look for their human-like characteristics. This sounded a little easier than it really was, so I totally procrastinated thinking this would be easy to do with my dog Boone. Nope---hardest subject ever! I would get him to sit and he would lunge at my camera the minute it went in front of my face, so I got one shot where he resembles a little old man, but then quickly went outside to see what else I could find. My shots may be a huge stretch on this topic, but oh well, here goes...
In case you are wondering why these...it may be an ex-teacher thing, but they totally reminded me of childrens' hands in the air waiting to answer a question :)
This tree was totally staring at me...
Face with a hat? Maybe? Do you see it?
Sneaking this one in... not sure if it counts, but hopefully it will make you smile at least ;)
And that's all she wrote...be sure to go check out Michelle's Anthropomorphic (is that word?) photos HERE

Love the tree staring at you! Awesome :) ps- how cute is your pup!!
Lisa, holy cow, woman! You took this theme and RAN with it! I am super impressed. You nailed it. I love the tall grass, they do look like little hands reaching up! And the eye in the tree is awesome... perfect example. Well done!!!!!
I also love the staring tree and the creativity of those raised hands - great work!
Very creative Lisa - you have an excellent variety of different non-human yet human like captures. I really like waving hands pic and the one of your dog, especially.
Totally adorable!! my favorite is the puppy :) I can imagine he was a hard one to keep still and pose! Fun post!
I love every single image! They are all wonderful! I don't think I can pick a favorite although I am partial to the puppy :)
Love these! Especially the tree and the puppy!
